Introducing Drop 01: East Wind, Stellar Path, Lunar Balance

Every Relict design starts with the same question: what did ancient Egypt and ancient China have in common, long before either could have known the other existed? Drop 01 is our first attempt at an answer, told through three designs.

East Wind (东风)

The white tee carries a single vertical line of gold embroidery, a straight redrawing of the Silk Road — the trade network that eventually linked Egypt and China through goods, ideas, and craft. The Chinese characters read "East Wind": the wind that carried more than cargo.

Stellar Path (星轨)

The black tee sits an Egyptian reed pen beside a Chinese calligraphy brush. Centuries before any road connected them, both civilizations solved the same problem independently: how do you make a memory outlast a lifetime? Writing was their answer, arrived at separately.

Lunar Balance (月相)

The violet tee places a crescent moon and sun side by side. Ancient Egypt and ancient China never compared notes, and both still built entire belief systems around the sun and moon as balancing, opposing forces.

What stays the same across all three

236 GSM Egyptian cotton. Hand embroidery in matte gold thread, never a print. A mashrabiya frame around every design — our one consistent signature. And a simple rule: no trend language, no noise, just the story.
